Also assists in managing the investigation of credit risk and approvals of credit terms extensions and limits.This position is been determined to be “Remote Anywhere”: The work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWork Stream Responsibilities - 50%
Responsible for an Accounts Receivable portfolio of 5000 customers and $50MM in annual revenue.
Primary Credit liaison for the assigned field selling organization, including fielding escalations and questions.
Responsible for conducting portfolio reviews with the offshore Credit Coordinators and giving fundamental guidance on establishing ways to find root cause delinquency and assisting in resolving those issues.
Oversee credit analysis and credit approval process per Credit Policy Matrix.
Enforcement of collection efforts related to customer terms.
Ensures all local credit metrics and KPI’s are being met. Responsible for reviewing the Credit metrics and results with field seller leadership to identify trends and corrective actions if necessary.
Prepare and deliver ad hoc reports as needed.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal, external, and cross-functional teams which will include a third-party offshore managed services partner.
Manage policy adherence by managing escalations for policy violations.
Schedule and attend meetings with new sellers to discuss credit expectations and follow-up to allow for feedback and reinforcement of expectations.
Oversee the bad debt reconciliation process including processing quarterly bad debts and submitting accounts to third party collections. Handle escalated collection agency/attorney inquiries.
Meet with credit leadership and Area teams to discuss credit expectations.
People Leadership - 30%
Ability to work with an offshore management team with varying skill levels from people managers to entry level individual contributors.
Provide coaching, best practice sharing, and identify developmental needs to improve skill set.
Conduct monthly one on ones with managed services associates offering coaching and mentoring as necessary.
Meet with credit leadership and the Managed Services team to discuss credit expectations.
Ensure established training protocols are being delivered to new Managed Services associates and escalate a concern if required.
Continuous Improvement/Project Delivery - 15%
Maintain Standardized credit processes utilizing automated tools where appropriate as well as fully understands and leverages this functionality to improve workflow efficiency and quality measures. Think strategically about new initiatives, participate in researching new technology selections.
Ensure adoption and review compliance to SOPs. Execute best-in-class methodologies such as quality performance, leveraged by driving operational efficiencies to improve workstream activity.
Build and foster a collaborative network within credit teams and the seller management with the purpose of strengthening alignment, sharing best practices, and driving effective communication.
Consistently driving for financial fitness as the cornerstone of effectively delivering the shared services model.
Provides thoughtful leadership to internal customers and connect externally to hear the voice of the customer.
Develops, tracks, and shares standard KPIs ensuring they are consistently driving towards excellence and meeting the needs of the functions and associates supported.
Collaborate with third-party providers to facilitate process reviews, address inquiries, conduct training sessions, and offer guidance and direction as needed.
Demonstrate agility and cross-train across various areas within the department, ensuring versatility and adaptability to changing demands.
Take responsibility for cross-training team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.
Personal Development - 5%
Update personal Individual Development Plan (IDP) and prepare for check-ins with your leader.
Engage in formal US Foods performance management process.
Strive to learn and benchmark against industry trends as well as be engaged in industry peer groups.
Pursue other personal learning and development initiatives.
SUPERVISION :
Provides support for up to 15 Managed Services associates.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3 years experience supervising associates and leading onsite and remote associates required.
3 years experience working in Finance or Credit/Collections including managing portfolios, analyzing risk and approving credit terms is required.
3 years experience in using a variety of web based and mainframe systems to perform job activities is required.
Strong attention to detail, data entry experience required.
3 years experience utilizing D&B, and other financial & risk management tools required.
Intermediate MS Office skills required with strong Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP and basic formulas required).
Proficiency in using a variety of web based and mainframe systems to perform job activities.
Strong verbal/written communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively communicate under pressure.
Ability to inspire, motivate, coach Ability to assimilate information and present to next level team members, internal and external customers.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Strong negotiation and persuasion techniques; critical thinking skills to manage complex problem-resolution abilities with ability to influence others during negotiations; ability to analyze data and situations to draw appropriate conclusions.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED Required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Credit Business Associate (CBA) Certification preferred

In New York City, the expected compensation for this role is between $73,500 and $95,000 per year. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year. This role is also eligible for annual incentive plan bonus.
