Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Sr. Credit Representative to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. In this role, you will provide overall monitoring and management for a portfolio of key accounts or multiple portfolios. You will provide account information to customers when requested, run all designated reports and submit to management by designated date.  You’ll work closely with Reconcilers, ensuring deductions are worked timely and accounts have been reconciled. You will also ensure compliance with policies/procedures and provides training and mentoring to Credit Representatives and other departmental associates. You will support existing Credit Representatives with managing accounts receivable portfolios, customer issues, order releases, etc., during outages. In addition, you’ll perform system maintenance to initiate/remove credit holds, update credit limits, and/or update terms. We are proactive, evolving and highly respected in our industry.  We are flexible, have fun, and foster professionalism.  Our focus on providing exceptional customer support differentiates us from competitors. The world is reading, and it is our goal to connect as many people to the content they want in the simplest ways.  If you are a professional in accounting and finance that is seeking a stable, adaptable team, we can’t wait to meet you!Required Qualifications:High school diploma, post-secondary school preferred3 years of credit/collections experience, to include an understanding of debits/credits with regards to AR and/or deductions1 years work experience that includes interpreting financial statements and preparing cash flow analyses2 years creating spreadsheets in MS Excel, including basic mathematical formulas and data manipulations such as pivot tables, Vlookup, and Xlookup.Required Qualifications:Experience working with retail customersProvides account management for assigned key accounts, publisher accounts, or multiple portfolios.  May also be assigned customers on long-term payment plans or accounts requiring close monitoring.Forecasts payments for assigned accounts to be included in the company’s weekly cash forecast.Communicates internally/externally regarding credit limit, payment negotiations and order release information and documents communications on internal note system.Reports and escalates issues to Credit Management that are critical, not in compliance with policy, lack clarity or fall outside of authorized guidelines.Works with customer in negotiation of long term payment arrangements for delinquent accounts.May assign or increase customer credit limits up to $5,000.00 and makes recommendations to management on others.Initiates credit limit reviews for assigned accounts based on Ingram Credit Policy, including a review of Ingram’s payment history, industry reports, news article and social media, plus financial statement analysis if appropriate. Also works with Sales to identify volume expectations and any issues that may impact the credit limit.Accesses various databases for researching and processing, including, but not limited to CMOD, Qlik, CyberSource, Ipage, Business Partners, Sales System, NACM, Web-Admin, etc. and various customer portals.Handles credit card data, updates Ingram’s systems with cc information, may initiate manual credit card charges. May also work in Ingram customer portal to make payments on behalf of customer.Makes recommendations regarding certain account actions, including credit limit changes, credit hold, In-House Collections, and placing accounts for collection (to management), and communicates the decisions across the company as appropriateEscheats unclaimed property per applicable state laws and prepares and mails escheatment letters.Manages customers “Credit Hold” status as appropriate.Reviews and manages exception orders and initiates appropriate follow up response.Meets assigned order review cut-off based on DC, territory, and/or division.Works with other departments and customers to resolve outstanding disputes.Provides weekly or monthly written updates to management regarding past due invoices for accounts based on outstanding balance amounts or past due balances. Contacts customers regarding past due invoices and denied claims to obtain payment information and takes action to release/hold orders accordingly within stated service level cut-offs.Reviews and reports aged debit items based on stated guidelines. Works closely with Reconciliation Team to ensure deductions are worked timely. May create detailed analysis reports for Management and customer. May initiate credit requests for shortage reserves, billing adjustments, or freight allowances due under individual customer agreements. Assists in settlement reviews as needed.Interacts with various other departments including Customer Care, Sales Dept, Returns Dept, and IT to resolve issues or conduct research. May be asked to attend specific meetings.Hiring Salary Range: $21.74/hr - $26.94/hr. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
