Senior Data Analyst

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville area). IES is the authorized textbook depository for multiple states, ensuring that K-12 schools receive approved curriculum materials efficiently. The company works with publishers to distribute books and digital learning resources to public and private schools districts. https://www.ingrameducationservices.com/ The world is reading, and it is our goal to connect as many people as possible to the content they want in the simplest ways.  If you are a professional who strives to deliver results through collaborative partnerships, understanding what drives business, and enjoys working in a connected culture, we can’t wait to meet you! The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required in a quantitative discipline (Library Science, statistics, finance/economics, mathematics, marketing analytics)5+ years’ professional experience in analytics, data mining, segmentation, and/or predictive modeling3+ years’ experience in the inventory management spaceWe have a preference for: Previous experience in the education industry or library sciencesExperience with database and model design and segmentation techniquesLarge Dataset Management (SQL/NoSQL, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)Business Intelligence, Analytics, & Visualization (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)EdTech Data & SIS Standards (OneRoster, Powerschool, Skyward)Atlassian (Jira & Confluence)The Sr Data Analyst key responsibilities are:Designs, develops, and maintains data pipelines for seamless integration with internal systems and vendor partners.Monitors and troubleshoots data pipelines to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in updates to repositories and services.Collaborates with vendor partners to establish and enhance data exchange protocols and standards.Performs data quality checks and implements automated validation processes to ensure data integrity.Partners and leads cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop processes for continuous process improvement in sales planning/reporting and operational analysis across the business.Develops and manages key retention studies, analyses and reporting from inception to strategy implementation.Performs quarterly business reviews for key accounts to identify at-risk clients and growth opportunities.Supports cross-functional teams by providing actionable insights derived from data analysis.Maintains in-depth understanding of the textbook adoption cycle across multiple providers.Conducts data analyses using SQL and other resources in support of a variety of analytical solutions.Hiring Salary Range: $83,230k - $105,532k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to:  the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
