job detailsAre you a detailed person? We are looking for a meticulous Parts Administrator/Sales Assistant with excellent customer service skills to join our team! This temp to perm opportunity is perfect for someone who has worked in the automotive or equipment industry (required), and is ready for that next career step. Qualified candidates must be sales motivated, technically proficient, and enjoy being part of a dynamic team. Clear communication skills, a customer-focused background, and proficiency in MS Office is required. Assists customers with ordering parts in a professional and efficient manner
Informs customers of parts requirements and provides price quotes
Reviews estimates to be sure parts that are ordered are correct and pricing is in line with estimate
Pulls and fills orders from stock; reorders out of stock parts and materials in a very timely manner
Locates out of stock parts from outside sources and submits special orders
Keeps service manager and customers updated on the arrival of parts and follows up on backorders
Ensures parts are tagged correctly with job numbers and customers names
Replenishes inventory; assists outside sales reps
Ensures payment received from orders, invoices are handled, and credit is issued for returned parts
Maintains orderly records of repair orders, invoices, special orders, etc; receives payments and credit card authorizations
Utilizes computer system accurately and runs daily reports
