Full Time Evening Assistant Manager - Commercial Cleaning

Position: Full Time Evening Assistant Manager

Pay: $42,000.00/year (40 hours per week) with $500.00/month non-taxed vehicle reimbursement ($48,000.00 total)

Schedule: Tuesday evenings through Saturday evenings [7pm-3am nightly…this may shift an hour in either direction if desired/needed & Saturdays are much more flexible]

Sundays & Mondays will be scheduled off days, however some occasional coverage may be required those days when management is on vacation or emergency situations arise. In those events, other days of the week will be designated off.

Job Description:

This position will support our management team in the evenings with whatever is needed. This will typically include coverage/cleaning of buildings where employees have scheduled outages or emergencies. It will also include assisting with training, addressing complaints or client requests, supply deliveries, site inspections, new building detailing and anything else as requested by our management team. Most of our buildings are in Knox County, however we also serve clients in the counties surrounding Knox (Blount, Sevier, Anderson, etc.), so employee must be comfortable driving distances and must have reliable transportation. Employee may clock in for required travel time beyond 30 miles.

Job Duties:

Carry out regular cleaning inspections, address areas where cleaning standards do not meet required standards & record findings

Clean & assist with coverage at buildings where employees have called out or scheduled vacation time

Assist with addressing complaints or requests from client(s) and document findings accordingly

Work closely with management team using good communication to ensure cleaning standards are maintained

Assist staff in monitoring equipment ensuring that all is operating correctly and safely

Aid in monitoring supplies and ensuring that janitor closets are stocked and tidy

Assist in training new team members ensuring proper cleaning methods and routines are understood and meet KKS standards

Assist management team/HR in implementing company policies

Undertake any necessary duties and requests by the management team

Job Requirements:

Must have cleaning experience & high attention to detail (supervisory experience is a plus but not required)

Must be a self-starter who is able to follow directions, work alone and complete tasks as directed by management

must be trustworthy, reliable, reachable and responsive

Must have reliable transportation and a working smart phone

Must be a clear communicator with good written and spoken English

Must a have a positive attitude and team oriented mindset

Must possess a high level of organizational skill

Paid Time Off: This position includes two weeks (80 hours) of paid time off (PTO), which resets annually on January 1st, with the option to carry over one week of unused PTO into the next calendar year.

Holidays: Employees will generally not be expected to work on major holidays (see below). However, it may be required if a rare, emergency arises. In the event of employee being required to work on a holiday, employee will receive on extra floating PTO day to use (eight hours).
