Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD2504000 and is part of the TN 134th ARW, Air National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. Responsibilities As a SUPERVISORY PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) GS-1152-11 (TITLE 32) you will, develop, interpret, and provide program guidance to the Wing regarding maintenance policies, procedures, budget, training criteria, and manpower/personnel. Provide oversight to the budget process, including planning, programming, budgeting, allocation, and funds execution. Lead aircraft maintenance support for operational, exercise, or contingency operations. Evaluate leads and control the Group and subordinate unit training program to ensure combat readiness for unit members and tracks progress via automated training records system and other tools. Direct aircraft maintenance analysis activities for the Maintenance Group. Represent the Maintenance Operations branch, participating in discussions, meetings, and/or serving on panels or committees concerning maintenance policies and procedures. Plan and schedule work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E-8 and E-9 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at lease 1 year at the next lower GS level or 36 months experience, education or training in computations of cost data on labor and materials, buying materials or reviewing data with respect to man-hours, machine time, materials consumed, etc. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Education Education Requirement: None Additional Information If you are a male applicant who was born after 12/31/1959 and are required to register under the Military Selective Service Act, the Defense Authorization Act of 1986 requires that you be registered or you are not eligible for appointment in this agency (Register | Selective Service System : Selective Service System (sss.gov)).
