Description Robert Half is hiring! In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including the development of software solutions, mentoring team members, and ensuring the optimization and security of our systems.Responsibilities: Lead the software development process, including the design, coding, testing, and debugging of applications. Contribute to the design and development of REST style services which deliver responses in both JSON and XML. Develop and maintain systems using Java, Jetty, MySQL, MariaDB Galera Cluster, and other relevant technologies. Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) for SysAdmin/DevOps tasks, including the creation and maintenance of EC2 instances and RDS instances. Work with front-end technologies such as JavaScript (es2016+), jQuery, Bootstrap, and HTML/CSS, including the migration of legacy JavaScript to modern standards. Collaborate on data design and modeling, with a preference for experience using Lombok in production. Employ Linux and bash scripting for system monitoring and performance tuning. Implement security scanning and PCI Compliance strategies to ensure the safety of our systems. Utilize testing architectures such as JUnit or similar frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software. Guide the team in developing a culture of testing and continuous improvement. Work with common integration pipeline tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or other equivalent tooling.Requirements Proficiency in Java programming language is required Experience with Jetty web server and servlet container Demonstrated expertise in MySQL and MariaDB database systems Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its various components Experience in developing Software As A Service (SAAS) applications A solid understanding of the real estate and property industry Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset Ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
