job detailsJoin our team as an experienced Tool and Die Maker! You'll fabricate, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures to support efficient production. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, operating precision machinery, and performing routine maintenance to ensure quality output. Must have 3-5 years of tool and die making experience, solid machining skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team. High school diploma or GED required, technical certification preferred.salary: $18 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to create and repair tools and dies.
Operate precision machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape and finish parts.
Assemble and test completed tools and dies for accuracy and functionality.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production tools and dies to prevent downtime.
Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure product quality.
Work closely with production teams to support efficient manufacturing processes.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
