Assist in the collection, analysis, and visualization of data related to factory operations and automation systems, and support the development and implementation of automation solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Develop and maintain applications using Ignition by Inductive Automation and create/update dashboards and reports in Power BI for improved data visualization.
Write and optimize SQL queries for effective data management and retrieval, and support the integration and customization of MS SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards and practices.
Document findings and project progress for presentation to the team, ensuring clear communication of insights and recommendations.
Engage in team meetings to contribute ideas for process improvements and enhance overall team performance.
What Skills You Need
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently to manage time and priorities efficiently.
Ability to work on location 16-20 hours during the academic year and 30-40 hours during the summer semester
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
