Engineering Tech II

Supports resort operations by performing maintenance tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.  As an Engineer Tech II, you will:Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort managementTroubleshoot plumbing issues, make repairs, and replace fixtures and piping as neededDiagnose, replace, and repair minor electrical components such as receptacles and ballastsTroubleshoot and repair appliances and household fixturesUnderstand HVAC systems and perform basic preventive maintenance and diagnosticsRepair interior and exterior walls, wall coverings, and ceilings, including texturing, painting, and caulkingRepair or replace tiles, grout, vinyl, and carpet as requiredWork with pools, spas, and water features, including chemical balancing and cleaning tasksParticipate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for workOperate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems)Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactionsPerform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort managementSafely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for the jobWork using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)Follow safety guidelines and practicesRecognize and identify potential safety hazards on the propertyCommunicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolutionAdhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and proceduresAlways represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behaviorPerform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadershipTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
