CLICK HERE TO APPLY NOW!CAM MACHINIST IN COOKEVILLE, TN-Flowserve is looking for a motivated computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) Machinist to work with our operations team. As a CAM Machinist, your primary role will be to set up and operate, at full proficiency and from complex shop prints, all assigned machinery. You will perform diverse precision machining operations on manual and CNC equipment to accurately produce a variety of complex metal parts.
REQUIREMENTS-
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret blue prints and able to identify tolerances for specifications
Ability to produce a quality product using knowledge of ISO procedures and the ability to properly determine disposition of parts and document any corrective actions
Knowledge and efficient operation of windows-based software
Demonstrate basic math: i.e. multiply, subtract, add, divide, decimal to fraction conversion and vice versa.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.)
Understanding of manufacturing procedures and standard work ensuring product quality
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Technical degree
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Manual and mechanical skills
Analytical skills and attention to detail
