The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the team in the daily execution of the receiving plan and material flow through the shop. In conjunction with the Plant Materials Manager, development, and execution of Warehouse Value Stream, including continuous improvement of the warehouse layout, storage, and operations to drive efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will accomplish this by leading and developing their team while partnering with key functional areas.Primary Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team to drive a continuous improvement culture with high levels of engagement.
Lead team with a results-driven framework focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory, and continuous improvement to meet customer and plant goals.
Responsible for warehouse and inventory management includes receiving, storage, issuing, as well as inventory accuracy.
Ownership of aftermarket value stream from order fulfillment through shipping.
Optimize the pick and pack process to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the coordination of inventory controls with planning and purchasing and physical inventory with accounting. Including VMI and off-site warehouses.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize the utilization rate of warehouse space and warehouse footprint by developing standardized processes, instructions, rules, and parameters for warehouse management.
Continually improve the warehouse efficiency by enhancing the material flow and pick paths.
Provides adequate information to determine work priorities for warehouse employees.
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive feedback in verbal and written forms; annually prepare and give formal written performance appraisals to direct reports in an honest and impartial manner.
Develop employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; works with individual material handlers and Team Leads to flex workforce between work cells, thereby enabling individual growth and development; and offering to cross-train.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to track success and/or recurring problems.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related warehouse experience
Demonstrated ability to deal with high levels of uncertainty and multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
A self-directed leader who can take the lead on issues to identify and implement solutions with team input.
Proficient in the use of Windows-based computer programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and a general aptitude with software systems.
Knowledge of Oracle or advanced ERP systems
Familiarity with Kardex
