GRADING FOREMAN
Job Description
Candidate must be well qualified in the field, must have verifiable experience in Heavy Equipment Operations, how to safely operate and maintain equipment, must be willing to make field repairs on site, must be able to read blue prints, must be able to set up and operate Top-Con GPS, must be able to finish grade, must be able to manage crew, schedule projects, bidding experience would be a huge plus!
Responsibilities
· Communicate with crew, project managers, engineers, and project owners in a professional
manner to meet production goals and customer requirements
· Take pride in workmanship.
· Safety of crew and public
· Read and understand road construction/site blueprints
· Keep neat and accurate daily reports of time, personnel, and production
Qualifications
· Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
· Previous leadership experience and knowledge of grading.
· Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record. CDL Preferred.
· Must be able to travel to various sites as required throughout HL Construction.
· Must be able to meet physical demands of the position such as walk/stand for long periods, lift,
push, pull, and carry heavy objects.
· Must pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests once hired
