Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing influx of boxes, trash, appliances, and other items. Warehouse worker will be paid for 5 hours a day, 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). After being fully trained, hours of work are flexible with work times open from 7am-5pm. The starting pay for warehouse work is $15 per hour- up to $18 per hour. There is a possible ability to pick up hours within the Junk Removal department as well.
Responsibilities
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jack, cardboard baler, and appliance dollies.
Performs breakdown and baling of boxes.
Loads appliance truck and moves appliances to correct warehouse location.
Places trash in dumpster and ensures dumpster is not over capacity.
Mixes paint to "dry" paint cans.
Maintains a clean warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Self motivated and self managed is a must.
Works quickly and efficiently.
Must be able to work in hot or cold conditions.
Ability to reach trucks and dumpster, and use warehouse machinery safely.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 70 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to understand the difference in types of appliances is required.
