B and B Tile Installation, Inc. is looking for someone to help our tile installers!
We've been in business since 1998 and we are a member of the BBB as well as the NTCA.
This job opportunity is only for those seeking long term, full time employment. This is not a seasonal job. This is not a summer job. Our crews work M-F and Sunday occasionally on a voluntary basis, 40 hours per week.
We need tile helpers asap! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
You must have the following before applying to this job:
- have a valid drivers license
- own your own reliable transportation
- own a working smart phone
- Able to pass a drug test
- able to show up to work and on time
- willing to drive to job sites occasionally. (Usually in Hamilton county. As far as Cleveland and as far as signal mountain.) You normally will ride with the installer in the work van.
- be capable of lifting 50-70 lbs on a daily basis
- know how to use a measuring tape!
- be teachable
- get along/work well with others
- be a team player
- loyal
- be dependable
- be literate, able to read and write in English
- be able to count accurately
Job duties include, but are not limited to: (you will be trained on the job-site for all of this)
-sorting/carrying tile
-carrying 50-60 lb bags of material
-carrying 50 lb sheets of cement board
-using grinder, jam saw, sawzall, mixing drill, hammer, utility knife, tape measure, level, square and other tools
-use a wet-saw
-reading instructions and tile installation patterns, as well as tile descriptions, grout colors, driving directions, counting material, etc.
-check in with supervisor over the phone on a regular basis
