The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting duties, providing exceptional customer service to guests while managing the financial aspects of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and that guests have a pleasant experience.
Duties
Perform night audit procedures, including balancing daily transactions and preparing financial reports.
Provide outstanding customer service at the front desk, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately processed.
Monitor phone systems and respond promptly to calls, providing assistance as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Assist in managing reservations and room assignments during overnight hours.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Experience in hotel operations is preferred.
Familiarity with night audit processes and procedures.
Proficient in using phone systems for effective communication.
Ability to provide excellent guest services while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
Previous experience at the front desk of a hotel is advantageous.
