HomeRite of N. GA. is looking for project-based construction workers - top pay for crew leader experience. This position requires travel throughout the southeast. Yard forklift, aerial lift and commercial construction and rigging a plus! Must be able to pass background check and drug test and must not be afraid of heights. Jobs are usually during the week and home on the weekends with accommodations provided by HomeRite. Experience and lift certifications a plus. Starting pay is $16/hr up to $25/hr depending on experience, certification and management/lead worker skills. Duties may include: Sheet metal bend, cut and install Perform physical tasks for projects such as building, heavy construction. Clean and prepared sites Put up and took down scaffolding. Clean up rubble and debris Assist other craft workers Read and interpret instructions. Help operators align, move and adjust equipment, materials. Load and unload building materials, machinery, tools. Apply basic math Maintain tools and equipment Comply with all regulations including government, building, safety. Wear required personnel safety equipment Use industry tools such as forklifts, levels, personnel lifts, power drills, power saws. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Knowledge sets include: pallet jack, general labor.
