The Accounting Coordinator will support internal and external customer requests related to high-volume invoice processing for Komatsu in North America.Key Job Responsibilities

Investigate, analyze and reconcile vendor invoices with errors and research past due invoices. This involves working closely with vendors, warehouse staff, and purchasing staff to determine root cause of errors.

Prioritize and process invoices on a timely basis for all company locations across the US in a shared service center environment

Use SAP to process a high volume of supplier invoices in accordance with determined deadlines.

Ensure accuracy of invoices and supporting documentation. Use strong analytical skills if/when data or process discrepancies arise.

Communicate discrepancies with internal and external customers.

Ensure all accounts payable policies and procures are adhered to including travel and related expenses, vendor approval and invoice processing.

Investigate and resolve basic problems associate with processing invoices.

Other tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Associate degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

2+ years of experience in accounts payable, shared services or purchasing.

Experience working with an ERP system; SAP experience strongly preferred.

Ability to use standard office equipment including a computer, fax, copier, scanner, etc.

Working proficiency in Microsoft office suite, including strong Microsoft excel skills.

Ability to analyze information and come to a conclusion.

Strong customer service skills.

Ability to work with and maintain confidential data. Ability to solve problems.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.

Ability to learn new processes. Detail orientated.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
