Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. The role involves handling various accounting tasks such as processing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger. As a Staff Accountant, you will be expected to manage customer inquiries, maintain customer records, and monitor customer accounts.Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) efficiently Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Maintain the general ledger, updating and reviewing it regularly Prepare and adjust journal entries as necessary Be responsible for the month-end close process Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and D365 for various accounting tasks Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally Process customer applications with attention to detail Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting procedures Familiarity with financial accounting statements Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations Understanding of General Ledger operations Ability to create accurate Journal Entries Experience with Month End Close procedures Proficient with NetSuite accounting software Knowledge of Oracle financial software Experience using QuickBooks software Familiarity with SAP accounting software Experience with D365 software Advanced Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables Accuracy and attention to detail Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects Ability to work independently and as part of a team CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
