We currently have an exciting permanent part time opportunity available to join the NRMA Marine team as a Master <45m. You will work across a 7 day roster (prominently weekends), where you will be responsible for the safe, clear and diligent management of the vessel and crew, while the vessel is being prepared for operation, is underway or finishing its operations, to ensure the day to day operations attain the standards required. Specifically, you will be required to:Ensure the safe navigation and operation of the vessel complying with maritime regulations and company guidelinesMaintain and update vessel systems and maintain accurate paperwork on the vesselManage the crew, crew attendance and performanceEnsure the overall satisfaction and safety of passengers on the vessel including directing your crew as appropriate in their primary roles and dutiesThe enforcement of vessel security including managing security threats, breach reports, emergency situations and security screeningManage the crew to ensure the vessel is clean, safe in good order for serviceManage the crew compliance, including vessel and land-based training and drills, compliance with maritime regulations, Code of Conduct requirements and Responsible Service of AlcoholHave full knowledge of the Safety Management Systems while promoting and reporting on a safe work culture.
