DescriptionAre you looking for the opportunity to utilize your ability in software development? Our client seeks a candidate who will be responsible for system designs and specifications using standard procedures and techniques to maintain, modify, and devise new or existing applications programs. These programs vary from basic to highly complex in scope. Academic or job-related experience with high-level languages and frameworks such as .NET, C#, WPF, MS SQL, XML, ASP.NET, design patters such as MVVM and MVC, or similar technologies.Performance Expectations Responsible for the creation of new programs or application screens and new systems of high complexity and scope. Responsible to identify, resolve, and follow through on problems that arise with daily functions. Enforce attention to detail and consistent follow-up to ensure successful completion without degradation of quality. Document changes to new classes and programs including database classes by completing the projects form template and submitting to Software Development management as required in established internal and external audit requirements as defined in the SDLC. Work closely with project leaders and users to develop workflows and specific functionality for the application. Assist higher level developer in the development of programs of a more complex nature. Research and resolve Help Desk Tickets that are assigned by Software Development management with potential assistance from a supervisor. Applies systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. Design, develop, modify, document, analyze, create and test computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.Skills and Qualifications Academic or job-related experience with high-level languages and frameworks such as .NET, C#, WPF, MS SQL, XML, ASP.NET, design patters such as MVVM and MVC, or similar technologies. Prefer a minimum of 3-4 years of progressively responsible experience in a software development environment. Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position. Understanding complex systems and credit card processing or financial services background a plus.
