Job Responsibility:To drive system design activities regarding train subsystem such as the traction drive and auxiliaries.To design the architecture, functional and technical specifications regarding train performances and customer requirements.To ensure the coordination of design activities done by internal or external suppliersTo manager design activities with all Engineering domains (i.e. mechanic, control command, validation) but also with transversal expertise such as operating safety, EMC.Participate in the follow-up of the achievement and qualification.To specify tests and participate to the validation and the certification process of the Power Pack by using simulation tools, test benches or a train.To contribute to issues resolutionTake part in the group's research and development activities in particular in the context of reducing the energy consumption of new rolling stock and new modes of power (fuel cell, energy storage elements, etc.)To insure expertise to the Project team and customers.ProfileTechnical generalist engineer with experience on rolling stock1 to 3 years of experience in design system on the rolling stock activity will be an assetTechnical competencies: electrotechnics, electronic, automation, pneumatic, taking RAMS aspects into considerationKnowledge of operating safetyBehavioural competencies: Team spirit, good skills in written and oral communication. Rigorous, flexible, and prone to obtain the commitment of everyone. Sensibility for quality, on time delivery, and costs.Languages : Fluent in English.
