As a Commis 1, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional South Indian dishes to our guests.Stock the assigned kitchen station with necessary ingredients and raw materials dailyOperate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyMaster basic cooking techniques, including ingredient preparation and daily mis-en-place for your assigned stationPrepare South Indian dishes according to standard recipes, ensuring portion control and minimizing wasteAdhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) in all kitchen activitiesClean and maintain all equipment within the food production areaReport any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment in need of repair to your immediate supervisorParticipate in fire and life safety drills and maintain knowledge of emergency proceduresAttend all required briefings, meetings, and training sessionsMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food deliveryAssist in other reasonable duties as assigned by management
