Job Description!The Technical Specialist will build strong relationships with key internal and external partners and support customers of the Standards business, with a primary focus in the 3rd Party Instrumentation, Reference Materials and Analytical Standards product lines.Key Responsibilities:Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites to install, maintain, and fix Fusion equipment, machinery and/or systems.Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and systems.Developing and improving maintenance proceduresDiagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, either on-site or remotely.Provide comprehensive customer support, including effective communication with customers to address their needs and concerns promptly.Deliver training sessions to customers or end-users on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, maintenance logs and inventory records.Create Service agreements by base of customer requirements.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment during travel and on-site visits.Offer remote support to customers via phone, email, or remote desktop software as needed.Stay updates on industry trends and advancements through continuous learning and professional development activities.Record all activities (visits, opportunities, reports, etc.) on Sale ForceCore Proficiencies:Service & Engagement: uncovering needs and supporting win/win to solve customer issues.Product Knowledge: value propositions & solution developmentOrganization skills: Ability plan and organize time to help serve customer efficiently and effectivelyPlanning installations and services around breakdownsTechnical Knowledge: Ability to diagnose and interpret the best cause of action to solve customer issuesOutstanding commercial awareness and planning abilitiesProblem-Solving: Ability to fix and resolve issues with instrumentation systems.Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with other engineers and professionalAble to read and interpret documents such as RFQs, contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
