As a vital part of it, in your role as Channel Sales Manager, South Africa, you will report directly to the Regional Director, and be responsible for selling Western Digital Storage Solutions.Desktop / NAS / Smart Video – HDD.Consumer Storage Solutions / External Hard Drives.Enterprise Storage SolutionsYou will also work to maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and customers, to manage the operation of and grow market share in the assigned channels.  In addition, you will be responsible for setting up the distribution network by identifying key System Integrators/Installers and Security Camera Vendors in the channel.  You should have a strong IT background with channel experience along with strong business development skills and the drive and execution to take tasks from start to finish.You must be able to travel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Achieve the quarterly sales targets.  Work closely with Distributors, assigning them quarterly targets.Set the distribution network for WD Devices BusinessIdentify the key System integrators/Partners and develop/build the market for the brand with a focus on Enterprise and surveillance business.Work closely with Distributors, and manage:PricingStock DistributionOrders and ForecastPayments.Develop strong relationships with existing System integrators through:TrainingSeminarsIncentive ProgramsBuild alliances with CCTV vendors to help develop and grow our surveillance hard drive business.Regular visits and meetingsResponsible for building relationships and influencing the mind share of the customer to increase sales and market share while maintaining a competitive position and yielding the highest possible returns on sales.Collect, compile, and analyze information, i.e., competitive information, etc. to utilize in decision-making and business strategies.Work with and through other departments within the company to ensure that all sales activities meet/satisfy all business and/or legal requirements.Work closely with our marketing team to identify opportunities, plan for these opportunities, and execute them within the quarter.Use appropriate internal resources to meet customer requirements/schedules.
