Senior Cost Manager/Estimator - Infrastructure

To perform the role of Senior Cost Manager and Estimator, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery and to ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service. Experience on working on Aviation, Rail, Roads, Ports, Defence and Utilities projects in NSW.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externallyResponsible for pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final accountCompleting feasibility studies and writing procurement reportsEstimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost planTendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documentsTaking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes placeProducing monthly post contract cost reports and presenting them to the clientInterfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stagesBusiness development experience, particularly in the context of identifying opportunities with existing clients. Possess the personality that is capable of determining needs for the business and gain support of the Directors.To work within the wider infrastructure team supporting multiple clients and project directors
