The Business Unit Finance Manager is responsible for leading a team of Finance Business Partners, in providing comprehensive financial advice and support on key enterprise-wide projects and to our Technology teams in order to help achieve its financial goals. This is a high impact role that covers all financial aspects of Projects including investment priorities at the strategic and divisional levels and other Technology Projects1) Reporting (Month, Half Year and Full Year)Performance Monitoring: Review and analyse monthly financial activities for the BU, including detailed assessments of month-to-date (MTD) and year-to-date (YTD) performance.Dashboard Reporting: Prepare and present monthly performance dashboards, highlighting key metrics, trends, and variances. Ensure reports are clear, accurate, and provide actionable insights.Accruals & adjustments: Review and approve accruals or adjustments to ensure that financial statements reflect the true economic condition of the BU.Insights: Provide meaningful insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive better business performance.Revenue realisation: Analyse project financials to identify and calculate deferred revenue accuratelyReconciliation of project related general ledger accounts and assisting the Fixed Assets Accountant with capitalisation of project assets2) Decision Support Review, develop and maintain financial models for product pricing; scenario and sensitivity analysis; vendor and other ad-hoc financial analytical activities as required.Support cross functional collaboration with the Finance Manager (Pricing) to support client key transactional inputs into pricing strategies for Client pricing proposals, renewals, and mergers.Lead the team to support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of financial processes, and to drive insightful reporting developments.3) Forecasting & BudgetingReview budget/forecast models for the Business Units, ensuring they reflect all financial aspects including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.Ensure driver-based assumptions are signed-off by the Business Units, and offer insights into the status of budget submissions, highlighting areas of opportunities and risks.Provide the Business Units with reporting on forecast submissions, including status against target. Offer analysis and insight to support the forecast, helping stakeholders understand the implications of forecasted results.4) Team LeadershipLead, motivate and develop a high performing finance business partner teamReview and provide oversight of the team’s workflow and new initiatives.Lead process improvement of team procedures and functions. ·What you'll bringTertiary qualifications in an Accounting/Finance discipline with CPA/CA qualificationsExtensive experience experience within a management accounting or FP&A team, with proven experience leading teams and driving high-impact outcomes. More than 3 years in a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager roleAt least 5+ years experience building revenue based financial modelsFamiliarity with TM1 or similar multi-dimension planning analytics toolStrong Analytical and problem-solving skillsJoin us at the forefront of payments
