job detailsWe have an immediate opening for a case dock laborers for a client located in Spartanburg, SC. This positions is temp to hire and qualified candidate will be eligible for competitive hire on pay and benefits. Shift: 8:00Am – Until Finish $15.00/hour Requirements: Steel toe shoes/boots required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach and bend virtually the entire shift Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary and manually stack and move cases up to 6-8 cases high Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays Effective verbal and written communications skills Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checkssalary: $14.99 - $15 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 8 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesAble to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned. Additionally, our case operators are responsible for safely operating various material and handling equipment and machinery within a warehouse, cooler, freezer or dock environment.The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
working weekends
