Who knows where our shared journey will take you? The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking an EHS Document Control Assistant, to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As an EHS Document Control Assistant , you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s documentation system. This role ensures that all documents are accurately filed, easily accessible, and comply with regulatory and company standards. Assist in the creation, revision, and maintenance of documents, including procedures, manuals, and forms.

Ensure proper document control practices are followed, including document numbering, formatting, and version control.

Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.

Distribute documents to relevant personnel and ensure timely updates.

Conduct regular audits of the document control system to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Support the implementation of document control software and systems.

Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures and systems.

Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits and inspections.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure document accuracy and completeness.

Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in document control or administrative support.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., ISO9000, ISO14000) is a plus.
