The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking an Busway Assembly Operator to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As a Busway Assembler Operator , you will Assemble or modify electromechanical equipment (BN, etc.) with the use of mechanical tools and blueprints. Assemble standard Sentron products according to standard procedures.
Perform repetitive assembly operations to include: Placing parts in specified relationship to each other, fastening component parts on frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies;bolt, screw, fasten parts together using hand tools or powered tools; test and adjust as necessary.
Process work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
Gather parts and accessories required in the assembly process.
Report non-conforming items.
Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
Verify that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
You will have impact if you have the following:Qualifications· 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Assembly· Basic Computer Skills, and the use of basic mechanical/measuring tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints· Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.Preferred Qualifications
Wiring experience and technical aptitude a plus.
Working experience in Busway products is a plus
SAP knowledge to complete Confirmations and Reports is a plus
