Financial Accountant

This role is within Group Financial Accounting, a newly formed team responsible for the financial accounting of Nine Group across Publishing, Broadcasting, and Digital. You'll contribute to standardising and improving processes with a mindset of continuous improvement, and assist in providing accurate financial information. This position is a 6 month parental leave cover until late January.Day to day you will:Oversee the management of the General Ledger (GL)Support the month-end closing processAssist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statementsAssist in the preparation of financial documentation for external auditsEnsure effective internal controls over financial operationsIdentify areas for process improvements in accounting systemsProvide detailed analysis of financial performanceCollaborate with divisional Business Partners
