Job Advertisement: Caregiver for Elderly Man
Position: Caregiver for Older Man (Post-Stroke Assistance)
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
About the Position:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver who demonstrates resilience in the face of critisism to assist an elderly man who has experienced a stroke. The role involves helping him with activities of daily living (ADLs) and providing companionship. The position is on an as-needed basis with a guarantee of at least two 12-hour shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Administer medication as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving, especially with elderly patients.
- Must be able to life up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a caring demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
