Controls Automation Specialist

Job DescriptionAssist Automation Engineer with Plantwide Automation improvements. Participate in Programming various Controls Technologies including PLCs, Robotics, Drives, HMIs, Safety Hardware, Vision, and PC based platforms.Train TEF staff in the use of Programming/HMI/Safety/Drive software to troubleshoot plant equipment in a Safe and effective manner.Assist with the planning of training courses and developmental evaluation of TEF technicians.Maintain plantwide directory of Controls backups, Robotics, and pc images. Maintain plantwide directory of Electrical Schematics for each Value Stream.Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.Support complex downtime events in production with the objective to explain the diagnostic process and guide technicians in improving Controls root cause analysis.Create detailed technical presentations that provide insight into projects, automation improvements, and complex downtime events.
