Job Description:
Looking for a Journeyman Carpenter to join my team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship.
15-25 hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches
Take measurements and calculate material sizes
Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials
Build window frames, doors, staircases, decks and frame buildings
Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall
Inspect and repair structures
Build scaffolding and other construction structures
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter
Hands-on experience with carpentry materials
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods
Proficient with electrical and manual tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Willingness to follow safety guidelines
Good physical condition and endurance
Must have dependable transportation and Tools
