Position Description: The Developer/Business Analyst helps create new application reports, dashboards for the North American Business Intelligence & Decision Support (BI/DSS) applications. The prospective candidate should have very strong Data Warehousing and Report Development experience. Experience in creating Technical Designs and understanding the reporting needs from working directly with the Business Users is required. Recent PowerBI or Microstrategy experience of at least 3 years is required. Your future duties and responsibilities:• Lead project planning sessions to analyze business requirements and provide input to proposed solutions• Lead joint application development sessions and develop solutions using Agile methodologies• Develop/Maintain BI cubes, documents, queries, applications, dashboards and standard reports• Ability to work on the schema design, creating various calculated metrics, advanced thresholds, tuning, caching, alerts, and report optimization• Provide user training on tool usage and reporting• Document detail design specifications and support specifications (Technical Design, ERD, etc)• Translate designs into programmable solutions• Basic understanding and background with AZURE/AWS Cloud environment• Take accountability for developing and delivering quality solutions

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Expert design/coding skills, unit testing methodologies and techniques• Demonstrated competency in all phases of business intelligence and data warehousing projects, from inception to production deployment• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, concepts and best practices (e.g. ODS, Data Marts, Staging)• Must be able to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders• Strong problem solving and analytic skills• Solid understanding of MS Office Suite (Visio, MS Project, Excel, others)• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Self-motivated and able to take initiative to provide technical solutions and resolve technical issues.• Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to learn on the job.• Basic database knowledge and ability to do basic SQL analysis.• Must have 5+ years of development in ETL or Reporting in BI solutions.• Azure advanced or admin experience a plus or other Cloud environment• Proactive thinker able to work in a fast paced, agile environment• Ability to work directly with a business team to develop solutions from scratch• Deep background in SQL and relational data base design and development.

This position is located in Greenville, SC for an in-person role. Must be located or relocate to Greenville.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $53,100 - $130,600.
