Description Position Overview:

Title: Facilities Manager

Status: Full-time, salaried exempt

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (On-call for fire/security alarms and building emergencies)

Salary Range: $75,000 to $85,000 (based on experience and education)

Reporting To: CEO

Team Structure:

2 direct reports (General Maintenance Technicians)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee maintenance, equipment, building layout, security, and space allocation.

Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications.

Negotiate service contracts with vendors.

Ensure projects meet time and budget requirements.

Enforce safety, security, and emergency guidelines.

Maintain compliance with ADA, OSHA, and fire code regulations.

Ensure facility maintenance needs are consistently met.

Required Skills:

Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Outlook)

Business Acumen: Financial planning and analysis, managing budgets.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership, collaboration, and customer service skills.

Analytical Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and presentation abilities.

Experience:

5+ years in Facilities Management (corporate or third-party service provider).

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with service contract negotiations and managing diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

HVAC: Knowledge of HVAC systems.

Compliance: Familiarity with ADA and OSHA regulations.

Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
