The Grain Elevator Manager will be responsible for grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow workers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, data and competitor activities to communicate with producers daily to provide profitable marketing opportunities
Manage an extensive existing deck of business with the capability to act on new business opportunities while balancing profitability and excellent customer relationship management
Oversee grain receiving, monitoring stored grain, handling, drying, blending and loading of grain while complying to grading/moisture standards set by NCDA with additional standards set by the company
Load outgoing grain
Monitoring and maintaining grain quality
Weigh incoming or outgoing grain as needed
Make periodic inspections of all stored gain and record readings
Blend all grains as necessary when shipping out to achieve maximum grade and resultant price for the company
Observe OSHA, state and federal safety regulations
Maintain clean and neat facilities
Maintain equipment and facilities regularly
Maintain housekeeping as well as records of maintenance and inspection
Following pre-established safety guidelines/procedures
Provide excellent customer service with timely unloads and communicating with customers to be available when needed.
Available to work extended hours. Including weekends and Holidays as needed.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions and airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Position Requirements
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Strong customer services skills for interaction with customers, truckers, etc.
Learn grain grading
Able to work at heights when necessary
