Job Title: Securities Analyst IIJob DescriptionThis position is in the Securities Administration Services (SAS) group. The role involves processing the most complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments. You will be responsible for providing remittance and correction information to servicers, monitoring and analyzing pooled loans for non-compliance, and communicating relevant information to investors. Additionally, you will evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements and participate in system enhancements by attending user group meetings and testing.Responsibilities
Process complex transactions or reconcilements related to loan or security payments.
Provide remittance and correction information to servicers.
Monitor and analyze pooled loans to identify non-compliance issues.
Communicate relevant information to investors.
Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with agreements.
Participate in system enhancements by attending user group meetings and testing.
Identify and communicate processing exceptions relevant to similar series across individual portfolios.
Maintain a working knowledge of Collateral, Securities, Default, or Trust Administration.
Train junior staff and review their processing and reconciliations.
Propose and implement automated solutions on an ongoing basis.
Essential Skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and V Look Up.
Strong analytical skills.
Background in business analysis and finance.
Data entry and accounting proficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
1+ year of experience in Financial Services, including internships.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using multiple database systems.
Ability to research and interpret legal documents.
Effective communication skills for working with collateral, securities, default, and trust administration.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is extremely team-oriented and deadline-driven. Candidates can expect to work in a task-based environment with a hybrid flexible schedule, including some on-site training and monthly large team meetings. The role requires occasional overtime to meet analysis deadlines.
