This involves applying engineering principles and analytical techniques in AUTOSAR platform software in support of ADAS development. The person in this role will be responsible for providing technical guidance and development direction for the ADAS in-house platform software development in BSW configuration, build, and testing.What you'll doProvide technical guidance and development direction to software engineers to configure, build, and test Classic AUTOSAR BSW for the ADAS system.Ensure all development adheres to Ford internal processes.Work with ADAS DevOps team and partners to enable daily build, integration, and test for the classic AUTOSAR stack.Responsible for leading the configuration and build of the basic software initially focused on the COM stack, Ethernet , Diagnostics, and Security for a multicore system using the Vector tool chain.Responsible training and guiding engineers to build ADAS in-house BSW software capabilityResponsible for guiding the development of high level design documentation, detail level design documentation, and requirements for the BSW softwareIntegration of AUTOSAR modules like DEM, DCM, SecOC, BSW, COM, LDCOM, etc., using the Vector ToolchainWork with an agile team of developers and follow agile methodologies.Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and program increment planning.You'll haveBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering or related field or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in embedded C development for automotive systems (ADAS is a plus).3+ years of experience in the configuration and building of classic AUTOSAR basic software modules.Even better, you may haveMaster of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering or related field7+ years of experience in embedded C development for automotive systems (ADAS is a plus).5+ years of experience in the configuration and building of classic AUTOSAR basic software modules.3+ years of experience in integration testingExperience in AUTOSAR Architecture for Multi core, CAN-FD, SOMEIP Ethernet protocolsExperience in vector tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela Studio, Davinci Configuration/Developer or EB configuration tools etc.Experience in ETAS tools like ISOLAR A/B, RTA-RTE, RTA-OS, RTE-HooksGood understanding of OSEK, IOCExperience on unit testing using Trace 32 /JTrace or any Debug Trace toolsKnowledge of multicore microcontrollersFundamental knowledge of electric automotive architecturesSupport for identifying the root causes for various embedded controller level issues like throughput, memory optimization, etc.Experience leading a global teamKnowledge of Ford engineering processesStrong knowledge and experience on RTE configurations and IntegrationSolid background in integration testingExperience in AUTOSAR Architecture for Multi core, CAN-FD, SOMEIP Ethernet protocolsExperience in vector tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela Studio, Davinci Configuration/Developer or EB configuration tools etc.Experience in ETAS tools like ISOLAR A/B, RTA-RTE, RTA-OS, ASAP2 Tool chainExperience with Git, JIRA, Jama or Polarion, Vector DBC toolsExpertise in Software debugging – Issue resolution, reporting, triage and status trackingYou may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
