- As directed by Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, effective December 8, 2021, Universal Consulting Services, Inc will require all newly hired employees be fully vaccinated before their start date regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law.UCS is supporting SPAWAR Network Services IPT division, on a 5-year delivery order in North Charleston. We are currently in the last year of the Delivery Order. The UCS team Linux System Administrator Tier III support in the RDT&E enterprise Lab in support of SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic employees and projects at all locations.
- UCS is looking for a Linux System Administrator. The candidate should have experience in the following:
- Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration
- Experience providing Tier III Support in a Lab
- Experience with virtual machine environment
- Experience with Splunk Administration
- Experience with basic scripting and networking
- Requirements
- Certification Requirements: Sec+Certification Requirement: RHEL Administration CertClearance Requirements: Secret
- Previous Helpdesk experience supporting Linux / RHEL
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities, and give attention to detail and quality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good communication skills
