Must show up to work on time. Continuous absenteeism and tardiness are not tolerated.
People skills: Establish and maintain respectful and professional relationships with crew members, clients, surveyor, and other employees.
Field survey work: Perform surveys such as boundary, as-built survey, subdivision, property line adjustment. Gather elevation information for elevation certificates. Collect field data including sketches and field notes.
Crew supervision: In a professional manner, supervise the work of a survey crew under the leadership of the lead surveyor. Instruct and train survey crew members in surveying field work, equipment use, and safety procedures. Oversees the operation of all land surveying instruments such as total station, total, GPS equipment, etc.
Quality control: Ensure that survey work meets project requirements, standards, and ordinances
Driver’s License: Must present valid driver’s license at time of interview or application will be rejected. A background check will be done as a condition of employment.
