Bearcat, a new restaurant in the Avondale Neighborhood is currently seeking passionate cooks to join our team.
Opened in October of 2023, Bearcat has garnered praise and developed a reputation of excellence and creativity throughout the Low Country. Led by Chef George Kovach, whose resume involves working in and writing menus for some of the top Michelin starred restaurants in the country including; Band of Bohemia, Acadia, Ever, and Elizabeth to name a few. Bearcat is an open kitchen concept showcasing modern fine dining while offering a casual neighborhood atmosphere. We have been featured in Charleston magazine, Charleston living magazine, The Post and Courier and Eater Carolinas to name a few and we plan and only going up from here!
