This requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.In addition to these primary responsibilities, a successful Vendor Management Lead must keep abreast of industry trends and best practices. This includes researching new vendors, evaluating new technologies and services, and attending industry conferences to stay up to date with new developments.Ultimately, the role of a Vendor Management Lead requires a combination of business acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage risk effectively. By effectively overseeing vendor relationships, vendor managers contribute to a company's bottom line and ensure long-term success.Specific Deliverables:
Strategic planning with Vendor and internal stakeholders ensuring vendor solutions meet business strategic objectives including (but not limited to) contract adherence, products, services, scope, performance targets, and partnering on emerging industry changes. This leader must be a strategic thinker with knowledge of vended offerings that maximize value for the business, and procurement processes. Ability to build multi-year roadmap of vendor deliverables and continuous improvement.
Vendor Performance Governance: This leader will leverage operational expertise and leadership acumen to develop reporting, policies, processes, and communication solutions for vendor service adherence, staffing requirements, KPI development, budget oversight/invoicing, performance management, and alignment to business priorities.
Integrating processes and technology between vendor and business operations to drive HEDIS strategies, plan performance, and maintaining compliance with Humana policies.
Staffing coordination through standardizing workforce planning processes with stateside resources, workload assignments, and maintaining vendor staffing requirements based on business need.
Develop controls, tracking, and efficient process for incident management of vendor technical issues, business process compliance, inventory prioritization, change management, and provide transparency for business continuity.
Execute contract renewals and amendments through Procurement collaboration and stakeholder awareness to guarantee vendor offerings reflect the long-term strategies of the business and leverages competitive sourcing for optimal value.
Vendor advocacy and engagement that influences a collaborative culture, unified experience, and bidirectional best practices.

Bachelor's degree
6 years of vendor management, operations and/or procurement experience
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Leadership experience over a large metric-intensive operational unit
Process improvement experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong facilitation skills
Desired Qualifications
HEDIS/Stars experience
Healthcare quality
Six Sigma certified.
