Technical Analyst

Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a Technical Analyst to provide technical and analytical support as part of our Department of State project team. Our on-site project team prides itself on having provided DOS with growing and evolving business, strategy, and software solutions for nearly 2 decades. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will have the opportunity to create end-to-end software deliverables and support every phase of enterprise application SDLC that will help achieve the goals of one of the most mission critical bureaus of the Department of State.

This position will require you to be on site at least 2 days per week at our customer's facility in Charleston, SC.

Your future duties and responsibilities - Build and administer federal enterprise application architectures, specifically surrounding financial management- Seek to understand existing automated processes and learn to provide improvement ideas and further enhancements- Monitor, maintain, fix and improve the health and function of the dozens of development and test application environments- Support the various business, functional, and testing teams with Production issues, changes, and customization- Craft a deep understanding of the complex integrated family of applications across the Department of State bureaus, and develop the next generation of software solutions to transform government IT- Master modern DevOps and CI/CD methodologies and work to incorporate them to our customer's vision- Refine and improve technical documentation to keep our applications accredited and secure

Required qualifications to be successful in this role An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

- Bachelor's Degree in a technical major including, Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, etc- Precise attention to detail- Highly tuned problem-solving skills- Desire for perpetual learning and evolution- Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency- Seeks to actively assist fellow team members and contribute a positive and empowering culture among peers

Desired Skills, Tools and Software Experience- Enterprise: System Architecture, Momentum ERP experience- Cloud: AWS or Azure administration- Server: Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019. RHEL or SUSE a plus but not required- Infrastructure: NetApp ONTAP, VMWare vSphere- Database: Oracle Database- Application: Oracle Middleware Tuxedo, Weblogic. SoftwareAG Webmethods. Microsoft IIS- Automation: BMC Control-M, Micro Focus ALM, UiPath. WalkMe, Jenkins, Puppet a plus but not required- Version Control: Git, BitBucket, SVN- Development / Scripting: Windows Shell, PowerShell, SQL highly preferred. PL-SQL, PERL, VBScript, JavaScript, SQR, or HTML/XML a plus but not required- Monitoring / Compliance: Splunk- Collaboration: Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, Confluence
