Join in and feel the difference.Work #LikeABoschJob DescriptionManufacturing Engineer supporting LTCC production Stacking and Laminate Cutting. LTCC (Low Temperature Co-Fire Ceramic) is a multi-layer ceramic circuit board with integrated resistors. Stacking and Laminate Cutting are two processes of the multiple step Value Stream.The manufacturing engineer must work together with team members to maintain and improve quality and efficiency. Expected to introduce systems to ensure performance and repeatably meet and exceed output and operational targets. Maintain operating documentation, PFMEA, Control Plan and ensure adequate preventive maintenance plans. Support all product groups, CIP activities and Policy Deployment objectives.The position also requires troubleshooting and operation of production, inspection and measurement equipment, development and construction of new equipment and upgrades to existing equipment. Identify, specify, order, and implement new equipment and processes to meet future product / production demands and business objectives.Develop and maintain strategies using lean manufacturing principles for equipment design, workplace layouts, labor, and material flow to meet strategic goals.Effectively implement / coordinate engineering changes, new manufacturing / product releases, and capacity increases including PPAP preparation and build.Investigate and solve root causes of manufacturing process problems.Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to the value stream to support product team, CIP, and plant goals.QualificationsIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable.Manufacturing engineer willing to excel as an individual and together with the LTCC team. BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field of study with 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing. Ownership of the area will require a strong personality and a self-starter with the following abilities:

Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and team-oriented skills; to include technical diagnostics and guidance with off-shift associates.

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

Effective root cause analysis and problem identification / solving skills.

Discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established company standards, policies, and procedures.

Working knowledge of AIAG or TS/ISO/IATF standards

Experience using Continuous Improvement Process principles.

Willing to travel nationally and internationally for training and supplier visits as required.

Track and evaluate key process indicators in order to implement Defect Cost & OEE improvements.

Assist in implementation of MES (manufacturing execution system) and Industry 4.0 on new and legacy equipment.

Develop and maintain training plans and training material.

Preferred: Working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, including the ability to diagnose using electrical and pneumatic schematics. Knowledge of robot systems, vision/camera systems, SolidWorks, and OpCon / MES. Excel Macro, SQL skills are a plus.
