Public Engagement Coordinator

Support public programming which includes the research, development and implementation of informal STEM programs for youth and adults, including school and scout programs, outreach, family and youth programs, as well as adult enrichment.Develop, market, schedule, and lead live virtual and onsite field trips for K-12 student groups.Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop, organize, and conduct STEM activities for NASA Center-unique events.Assist with all aspects of visitor center/museum operations including exhibit maintenance and exhibit enhancements.Assist with group tours of NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility Main and Island Base.Assist with visitor services.Collaborate with staff, internal and external partners and NASA civil servants to plan and conduct public rocket launch viewing events.Assist with program promotional efforts including design and distribution of promotional materials.
