Security/Network Administrator

The Security/Network administrator is responsible for the support and maintenance of the organization's server environment.

  • Provide Key Performance Metrics to our Risk Management team to help coordinate risk tracking.
  • Identify, analyze and maintain secure configurations across our technologies.
  • Identify, recommend, design, and maintain technology solutions to help support the enterprise's security posture and needs.
  • Monitor user accounts and access levels/permissions, network traffic / website traffic
  • Handle password resets
  • Involved in DR and cloud solution
  • Involved in O365 project and supporting users
  • Install and maintain network hardware / software
  • Evaluate and modify system's performance
  • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
  • Design and deploy networks.
  • Perform network address assignment.
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.
  • Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
  • Installs new software releases, system upgrades, and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
  • Installs and configures new hardware components and troubleshoots and resolves hardware related problems.
  • Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
  • Operates and monitors computer equipment, performs routine tasks to maintain equipment such as system backups, administers security environments, troubleshoots network access issues, and implements security policies and procedures.
  • Performs information systems procedures and maintains documentation that covers functional areas including production control, job scheduling, and security administration.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery planning, implementation and testing.
  • Assist in the planning, designing, and implementation of new IT initiatives.
  • Other related duties as required
  • Corporate Compliance Responsibility - As an essential function, responsible for complying with Neighborhood's Corporate Compliance Program, Standards of Business Conduct, applicable contracts, laws, rules and regulations, policies, and procedures as it applies to individual job duties, the department and the Company. This position must exercise due diligence to prevent, detect, and report unlawful and/or unethical conduct by fellow co-workers, professional affiliates and/or agents.

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related area and/or sufficient experience to equate to the degree
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience as a Systems/Network Administrator
  • Two (2) years experience of Active Directory
  • One (1) year Experience of VMware helpful
  • Experience with assisting in the evaluation, testing, implementation, and maintenance of endpoint, network, and cloud security tools.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, and associated protocols
  • Knowledge of Web and email content filtering.
  • Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
  • Ability to work with all levels of IT staff inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary.
