Job Description
We are seeking a skilled carpenter who is versatile and experienced in painting to join our team. In this role, you will perform a mix of carpentry and painting tasks. When carpentry work is not required, you will contribute as part of our painting crew to ensure projects are completed with precision and efficiency. (Work is in Rhode Island and Massachusetts)
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including:
Drywall repair and installation
Trim and molding installation or repair
Framing and structural repairs
Door and window installation or repair
Cabinet repairs and other finish carpentry work
Assist with painting tasks, including:
Surface preparation (sanding, scraping, patching)
Priming, painting, and finishing using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
Ensuring a high-quality finish on all surfaces
Work efficiently as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a skilled carpenter.
Painting experience is required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable transportation to job sites.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
