The Residential Site Supervisor & Carpenter will be responsible for overseeing and executing residential build projects on-site. This role combines hands-on carpentry with site management duties, ensuring smooth coordination among subcontractors and resolving build issues with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be experienced in residential construction, possess strong leadership skills, and have a keen eye for quality and detail.
Primary responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations at residential construction sites
Coordinate and manage subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality standards
Identify and resolve build problems and site issues proactively
Execute advanced carpentry tasks with a high level of craftsmanship
Interpret and work from architectural and engineering drawings
Advocate for safe work practices and enforce site safety protocols
Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the project team, clients, and subcontractors
Qualifications
Proven experience in residential construction and carpentry
Experience supervising construction sites and coordinating subcontractors
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Positive, proactive, and helpful attitude with a willingness to learn and support team members
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship
