Wickford Lumber and Hardware is busy and we are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant/Retail Customer Service Rep to work Monday through Friday.
This position will work partly in the office:
Receiving merchandise; updating the inventory system
Ordering merchandise via online and phone
Calling vendors for quotes; obtain merchandise information
Assisting with inventory counts
Call to collect customer payments
Reconcile packing slips and invoices
Other office work as needed and assigned
The other portion of the day will be spent in the hardware store:
Assisting customers
Working the register, counting money; answer the phone
Unpack shipment bins; stock shelves
Other duties as needed and assigned
Requirements:
Computer literacy and previous office experience
Attention to detail, organized, reliable
Excellent customer service skills
Enjoy working with the public
